2. LinkedIn

LinkedIn is the recruiter’s tool of choice and more and more employers are also going this route. LinkedIn is a professional networking/social media site, but it is also a great way to land your next job. By creating a profile, you are basically putting out a “live” resume. Employers can contact you directly, even if you aren’t looking for a job! LinkedIn also has a job search function and offers many tools to research potential employers.

CareerBuilder is a veteran in the online job space and they are still doing a pretty good job. This site has grown over the years and offers some cool new features like a comprehensive salary calculator and many different reporting metrics.

Monster has been falling to the back of the pack in recent years, but it is still a great site to have in your back pocket. They are a well known name and many employers still use them.
